Well, the 28th KOT is all done... the weather was truly spectacular, and our new venue at Cordova High School worked out really well. All together over 130 teams played some great “beginning of season” rugby. Without doubt the KOT is the now largest youth rugby tournament of its type in the World!
And, we got some great publicity for our under reported sport... a minute and a half on CBS Channel 13 News at 10 o’clock, plus Yahoo News online, and front page of the Our Region section of the Sacramento Bee, who called it a “Rugby Fest” and what a festival of rugby it was. The National Guard, one of our Gold Sponsors sent out their own video crew to the event...

Yes, it was Rugby... Rugby... and more Rugby...
But, not wanting to rest on our laurels, we are already looking forward to KOT XXIX next year which is (as always) will be the weekend before the Super Bowl - so KOT XXIX is tentatively scheduled for 26-27 Jan 2013! In the meantime please send us your suggestions about how we can improve the KOT, and don’t forget to send in your photographs and videos so we can grow our library of great rugby images...
